  • Warranty Policy

    Most new Uniden products carry a one year manufacturer’s warranty from the date of purchase. Please save your receipt for proof of purchase. See your warranty documents included with the product for more details.

    Refurbished products purchased from our online store have a 90 day service warranty. Products serviced by our repair center also come with a 90 day service warranty from date of return shipment to our customers. NEW units purchased from Uniden have a one year limited manufacturer's warranty. Please see manual for details.

New Products Purchased From Retailers

 

Most new Uniden products carry a one year manufacturer’s limited warranty from the date of purchase. Please save your receipt for proof of purchase. See your limited warranty documents included with the product for more details. To return or to receive a refund for a product purchased from a retailer you must contact that retailer for their return or refund policy.  Uniden America Corp. is not responsible for nor does Uniden America Corp. handle returns or refunds on products purchased directly from retailers.


Products Repaired by Uniden Repair Center

Products serviced by our repair center have a 90 day service limited warranty from date of return shipment to our customers or the remaining duration of the original one year limited warranty, whichever is greater.


Products Purchased Directly From Uniden America Corp.

Any Like-New products purchased directly from Uniden America Corp. are covered by a 90 day limited warranty.  Any new products purchased directly from Uniden America Corp. are covered by a one year limited warranty.  See your warranty documents included with the product for details.  Any product purchased directly from Uniden America Corp. may be returned for a full refund (excluding shipping and handling charges), only if the product is in the same condition it was in when shipped and only if the product is returned within 30 days of the date it was delivered to the consumer.  Uniden America Corp. does not refund any products returned after 30 days of the date it was delivered to the consumer.  If products are returned after 30 days of the delivery date, a 15% restocking fee will apply. 


To return an item that was purchased directly from Uniden, please repackage the item(s) along with a note detailing your request and a copy of the original invoice. Please ship the package using a traceable method such as, UPS, FedEx, or U.S. Certified Return Receipt.
